Printing on Mesh Banners
Mesh banners differ significantly from scaffolding mesh in both appearance and characteristics, although their applications can be similar. Unlike scaffolding mesh, which primarily serves a safety purpose, mesh banners are designed mainly for advertising. They are made from the same material as vinyl banners (but should not be confused with self-adhesive vinyls) and have a unique mesh structure. The numerous small holes in the material reduce its weight and allow wind to pass through, which lessens the stress on both the banner and its supporting structure. Mesh banners are particularly suitable for large-area advertisements, as the size and density of the holes influence their overall characteristics, including weight, strength, light transmission, and the visibility of the printed image.
These banners are commonly used for wallscapes or fence installations, and they are ideal for locations where wind could pose a problem. Additionally, some customers prefer the aesthetic appeal of printed mesh banners. In contrast to vinyl banners, mesh banners are more resistant to tearing and generally offer greater durability. Despite being see-through due to the holes, printed images maintain good visibility.
At Fresh Print, we provide high-quality mesh banner printing along with finishing services such as hemming and eyeleting, similar to our offerings for vinyl banners.
