Artwork requirements


You can send us your artworks when sending the inquiry. It is important that each file submitted for printing meets the requirements for the specific product. If your artwork do not meet the size and resolution requirements for printing, or you do not have your own artwork, you can use the services of our professional designers who will create and prepare the most suitable for printing and for your needs artwork.
You can send the artworks as attachments to our e-mail address. In case the file size is larger than the allowed limit, you can send us a download link (preferably from www.wetransfer.com).
Our specialists will review the received graphic files and in case any issue is found, such as size, resolution, colors, fonts, etc., we will contact you to make the necessary corrections.
However, despite our preliminary inspection, Fresh Print is not responsible for any discrepancies in the finished product if the artwork preparation requirements are not met.

Large Format Printing

1. Texts must be in curves.
2. When the file contains a combination of vector and raster images, it is good to save them in the following formats: EPS, PDF and the vector images should be placed on top of the raster ones.
3. It is desirable that the artworks do not contain effects (masks, gradients, transparency, shadows, etc.), but in case they have effects, all of them must be rasterized with a resolution suitable for the size (150 – 300 dpi) .

1. Only artworks in CMYK color scheme are accepted for printing.
2. Resolution (dpi):

Image size Recommended resolution
From 10 x 10 cm to 30 x 50 cm. 300 dpi
From 30 x 50 cm to 50 x 70 cm. 200 dpi
From 50 x 70 cm to 70 x 100 cm. 150 dpi
From 70 x 100 cm to 100 x 200 cm. 72 – 100 dpi
From 100 x 200 cm to 200 x 300 cm. 72 dpi
Over 200 x 300 cm. 40 – 72 dpi

3. It is not recommended the raster image to be less than 72 dpi in actual size, considering the quality of the printed graphic.
4. In the case of images submitted by the client with a resolution of less than 72 dpi, Fresh Print Ltd. is not responsible for the quality of the print.

1. Images must have a vector contours.
2. The artwork must have bleeds.
3. In case files need to be compressed, please use only ZIP or RAR compression.

1. Print in CMYKLcLm only – files can be vector (eps, Ai, cdr), or raster (.tif), and raster images must have a resolution of at least 150 dpi.
2. Printing in CMYKLcLm + white – for raster files (.tif) the image that will be printed in white color must be with Spot Channel; for vector files it must be in a separate layer and be Spot Color.

1. Ai, CorelDRAW, PSD, TIFF or PNG format.
2. No effects.
3. With transparency (if you want to use the “Undefined shape” option).
4. Maximum size: 28 x 48 cm.

Digital Printing:

1. Maximum printable area 324 x 482 mm. for paper, and 314 x 444 mm. for self adhesive vinil.
2. All texts must be in curves.
3. The images should not contain effects: transparencies, shadows, masks, etc. In case you used such effects, convert them to Bitmap, at 300 dpi, in CMYK color scheme.
4. Overprint must be turned off.
5. To ensure maximum print quality, images must have a resolution of 300 dpi. We are not responsible for the quality if the resolution is lower!
6. Images must be in CMYK color scheme.
7. Color profiles should not be used or, if available, should be explicitly specified in the file name.
8. Texts, logos and other essential information must be at least 2 mm (for flyers, brochures, leaflets 5 mm. – 9 mm. ) inside the final size of the product.
9. Your files should have a minimum of 2mm bleed on all sides so that important information is not cut out when cutting to size.
In the case of books, brochures, leaflets, this bleed should be 5 mm.
10. When submitting files for books, catalogs and other multi-page documents, it is recommended that you submit a multi-page file containing single pages, arranged in the order and size you desire, with the necessary bleed.
11. If the nesting is done by the customer, “Fresh Print” EOOD does not take responsibility in case of non-compliance of the received printout with the expectations.
12. If the item to be printed includes finishing work, the order MUST contain a detailed information about all requirements.
13. For printing with a special toner (gold, silver or clear), the corresponding elements must be set as an additional spot color, named respectively Gold, Silver or Clear. If you have any questions about print preparation, please contact our specialists.

1. The maximum printable area is 470 x 320mm / 70 mm thickness and is designed for quality prints of small objects and materials. The maximum weight of the item can be up to 4 kg.
2. To print with white ink, white must be set as an additional spot color, named – White 426. Also, the objects you want to be white must be in a separate layer named White. And they must have Overprint enabled.
3. To print with varnish, the varnish must be set as an additional spot color named – Lak. Also, the objects you want to be varnished must be in a separate layer named Lak. And they must have Overprint enabled.
4. For different types of materials and surfaces, it is recommended to test the adhesion strength of the ink, as it may vary for different materials.

1. Cut and crease paths must be vector.
2. Outlines must be a stroke and with no fill.
3. Cut and crease paths must be in a separate layer.
4. Use red color for the cut path, green color for the crease path, and blue color for the perforation line.
